Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cats in Need is calling all lovers of animals to help us out with TomCat Jones Medical Expenses! Surgery will be on Thursday, Feb 10, to fix: 2 broken hind legs, dislocated hip, broken tail needs to be amputated. The total Medical Expenses: $1728 (approximate).
Tom Cat Jones’ Story: TomCat Jones was rescued on Saturday, January 29, by a Great Samaritan after being hit by a car 3-4 days earlier. He had dragged himself to a nearby business and had lain there without medical attention, food, or water as customers and employees walked by. Finally, a caring passerby rescued him and contacted Cats in Need the next day.
About TomCat Jones: He is about 2 years old. During his entire ordeal, he has maintained a sweetness of temperament. He purred throughout his veterinary appointment when he was x-rayed, transfused, handled, received shots. His foster mom said that despite his broken legs and dislocated hip, he has always made his way to his litterbox and never missed. What a guy!
TomCat Jones will be available for adoption as soon as he is healed.
