UPDATED BIO 09/13/2009: Raleigh is a 5.8 lb 9-10 year old yorkie boy. Up until now, FM thought that little Raleigh was content to be a quieter little guy who liked to follow her around and sleep the rest of the time. Well, it seems that Raleigh was merely getting over the sniffles from the shelter. He appears to be feeling more and more himself every day. When another UYR member went to visit Raleigh's foster home this evening, Raleigh was so animated and wouldn't sit still. His little tail was going a a mile a minute as he jumped up onto the couch to properly greet the new visitors. He can even jump the small barrier gate in the house. What a doll.
Raleigh will be getting a dental as soon as he is all better. He is already missing several teeth, but he can chew just fine. He is an adorable little guy who will make a wonderful addition to a family seeking to give love to a senior. Due to Raleigh's size, he can only be adopted to a home with children 12 years and older.
UPDATED BIO 09/08/2009: Raleigh is a 5.8 lb little man who the vet thinks is closer to 9-10 years old than the original 7 years old thought by the shelter. He is a sweet little man who loves to lounge around, sit on your lap, and follow you EVERYWHERE! Boy, this little guy must be afraid he's going to miss something if he's not right there with you to check out what's happening! FM says he's no trouble at all. His comprehensive panel of bloodwork was perfectly normal. He likes dogs AND cats! To top it off, Raleigh is HOUSETRAINED! What a smart little dude.
Well, if you're looking for a chill little man to follow you around and watch TV with you, Raleigh is your guy! He's just waiting to get his toofers cleaned. If you want more info on Raleigh, contact his FM. Thanks!
