My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abby was recently rescued from a high-kill shelter. She is just 8 weeks old and it looks like she will be a pretty good size dog when she is full grown. According to the shelter her mom is a lab/pit mix, but no one know what the dad was, so we can't say for sure. She is a very typical puppy, playing, biting, chewing and exploring. The foster will begin work on crate training and housebreaking, but will very likely only scratch the surface.

Because we simply do not know how large this dog will get, we will give preference to homes with out small children and/or homes with puppy experience. A puppy can easily but unintentionally knock down a small child. We also will only adopt to homes where Abby will not be alone for more then 4 hours a day. A puppy needs alot of training, attention and socialization.
