Bones's Story...
They call me Bones because I have a condition unlike anything any doctor has ever seen… It’s a condition of the bones… See, my bones are filled with such a longing for love and companionship that my bones ache day and night! The good news is that the doc say’s it will clear up as soon as I get into a home and the longing for love in my bones will turn to love and companionship and warmth in my heart… So, in other words, take home and you’ll have a happy, healthy best friend for life! I’m a smart dude who learns pretty quick – I’m very eager to learn! I’m totally people focused, and I do love to play with my canine friends. Kids are cool too! 10 months old-60lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bones, a Portland Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Doberman Pinscher for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
