Percy's Story...
Lord have mercy on sweet little Percy! Oh, mama get me outta here! I’m bored and lonely and I want to live, love, and experience this wonderful world! I’m one super smart gal who is looking forward to learning all that you can teach me! I like the other dogs a lot, in fact playing is great fun but I won’t put up with any funny business! I met the cat here, and I made it clear that I don’t like those fuzzy little creatures so a home without cats will be best for me. I really enjoy meeting new people- I am polite and appropriate. I like to socialize but don’t expect me to make a big fuss about it- you won’t see me running in circles, jumping on you or bouncing off the walls- I mean really, I am a lady with some manners! Not a whole lot is known about my history since I was found as a stray…I can tell you that I am very sweet, well mannered, super smart and already completely crate trained. Have some mercy on sweet little Percy, and gimme a home!!!

1 years old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; spay rebate, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Percy, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
