Good with: Dogs, Cats, Kids.

Maggie is the sad result of puppy mills. She was given away as a puppy by the pet store because they could not sell her due to a congenital knee condition, luxated patellas. This condition is very common in Pomeranians and is a result of bad breeding. However her kneed condition is not extremely sever but it is considerate. She has managed to live normally with her condition but is unable to go up stairs. To correct the condition she will require an expensive surgery only specialized orthopedics surgeons can perform. The rescue is looking in to getting it done for her once we have managed to raise enough money.

If you are interested in adopting her please go see our Adoption Process: http://www.elevenelevenanimalrescue.org/AdoptionProcess.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Montreal Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Montreal, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Montreal.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montreal already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montreal breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montreal paves the way for another one to be saved.
