We seem to have a run on big red lugs at! Our newest red boy is Sammy. He is a 3 year old purebred yellow Lab in the darker fox red color. He is one beautiful boy.

Sammy has good house manners and will sit for the tasty chicken treats his foster mom gives him. He really likes it when she gives him ear rubs. he thinks she is the best! Of course being that typical wiggly waggly Labrador Sammy likes everyone and everything.

Sammy weighs about 85 lbs and is a pretty big dog. He is well behave though, so don't let his size be a deterrent. He will make a wonderful dog for his new family. He just wants love and attention and will give back all the love and attention his family could ever wish.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Boston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
