Norton is a great, little dog who arrived at the Centre via the pound. Like many of the pound dogs, he was a stray. I guess that it is safe to say that Norton had a cowardly owner who felt it was easier to leave him at the side of a road than take him to a shelter or rescue. It’s a sad fact, but it happens all the time. Norton is now in a safe place and he will make a wonderful companion. His is a Miniature Poodle-X, approximately two years old, and weighs 12 lbs. Norton is very friendly and affectionate. He gets along with other dogs and is not a pest around the cat. Norton does love his walks and is always ready for a belly rub and kind words on his return.
