Susan's Story...
Susan is a very special dog. She was found tethered to a park bench too petrified to move, and so she had to be carried. She's about 1 year of age and has already had a litter of puppies. Since arriving in her foster home, Susan has begun to warm up and it's wonderful to see her learning to trust. There was rejoicing when she gave her first kisses and even more when she first wagged her little stump! She's still timid but very gentle and thrives on affection and very positive reinforcement to build her confidence. She needs a quiet home with a stay-at-home mom or dad who will patiently nurture this little "fawn" of a dog into the loving, devoted companion she is longing to become. Are you that special soul with a heart of gold? If so, call us - Susan needs you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susan, a Alpine Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Alpine, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Alpine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpine paves the way for another one to be saved.
