Salt's Story...
Hey there! I have just arrived in Calgary on October 1st from San Francisco, California! I am an adorable 6 month old tan Poodle/Schnauzer x and can't wait to find a home of my own! I am a happy little pup who aims to please! I love to chew on raw hide bones and my tail is constantly in motion! I am doing very well on my housetraining and love to sleep on my doggie bed.

Please note that Little Mutts Rescue adoption fees are generally $400 for adults, and $450 for puppies. Includes spay / neuter, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchip, and a vet certificate of health (please note that if puppies are born in Calgary, we do not have a vet certificate to provide). Why Adoption is a Great Option

Salt, a Calgary Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
