Roxanne's Story...
Well hello there, my name is Roxanne, but you can call me Roxy. I am about 3 1/2 years old and a yellow lab mix. My foster mom says that I'm an absolute sweetheart, and I certainly wouldn't argue. I really, really love people. I love being with them, I love being scratched and pet, I love getting treats. I must say - life seems pretty sweet right now. I am a tall girl, but I only weigh about 70 pounds right now, RROC thinks that putting on another 10 pounds or so wouldn't hurt me, and if that means a little extra food - I'm all for it. I really enjoy watching the squirrels outside - not nearly as much as I think I'd enjoy chasing them though. That could be a lot of fun! I don't live with a cat right now, and I'm not sure if that might be the same sort of fun as a squirrel - maybe it's a good thing that I don't live with one. I am housetrained, and cratetrained and would love to be your new best friend. Please ask about me today!

We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxanne, a Evergreen Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Evergreen, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Evergreen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evergreen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evergreen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evergreen paves the way for another one to be saved.
