Kitten #1's Story...

NOTE FROM KITTENS FOSTER HOME: "They are both true lap cats! They will lay on or sleep on whoever is willing to provide a warm body - one on the chest and one in the lap. They love their scratching post and kitty toys too...They are adorable and so very sweet!"

Hello- we are two adorable gray kittens who are looking for a loving, indoor, committed home to call our very own! We are both neutered, up to date on shots, tested negative for both FIV and FeLv (feline leukemia) and we are housetrained/litterbox trained. We have also been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. We are siblings and we certainly love each other and love to play together! We get along well with all people who are kind to us. We have not been around a dog(s) but our foster family thinks we would be just fine.

We are approx. 12 weeks old as of early October (2009). We can be adopted together or seperate- but we would sure love to stay together if we can!

Our life started out pretty rough, as we were stray kittens rescued from the busy streets. We are sure lucky to have survived and we are now happy, healthy and just searching for a purr-fect home! We sure can't wait to meet YOU!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kitten #1, a Xenia British Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a British Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a British Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even British Shorthair breeders who help with British Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
