I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Tanner's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tanner's Story...
Tanner is a precious 8 month old Lab/Hound mix. He is a super-sweet puppy who loves cuddles, kisses, playing fetch and playing with other dogs. He is housetrained and he has mastered basic commands such as sit, down, stay and come. He is very smart and loves to learn.

Tanner was a rescue from an out-of-state puppy mill, so he is VERY fearful of the sights and sounds of NYC. He is also very unsure around new people and takes some time to feel comfortable.

We are looking for a loving home in quiet environment outside the city- preferably in the country -where he can be free to run and play in a fenced yard and just be a free, happy dog! He loves being around other dogs SO much, that we are only considering a home with another dog to be his buddy.

He is an amazing, adorable and lovable pup with lots of energy who will thrive in the right environment. He would do great in a home with a more confident dog to show him the ropes! He is healthy, neutered, and up-to-date on all of his shots. He weighs about 43 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tanner, a Brooklyn Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
