My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Nelson and I'm back because I didn't bond with the family cat fast enough for the people who adopted me. Since I was originally found as a stray and brought to a local shelter, my lineage and details are somewhat sketchy - but the humans I've temporarily lived with did some research and believe that I'm mostly Tibetan Terrier with maybe some Poodle mixed in. Hey, but with my good looks, what does it matter? I'm about 7 years old and weigh in at 20 lbs. I overheard one of my foster moms tell someone that I'm very smart and eager to please - that must be a good thing because she was smiling when she said it. I get along fine with all the other dogs I've lived with, ranging in sizes from Pekingese to Great Danes! NO CATS, PLEASE! They don't like me and I don't like them! Oh, but kids - I like them because they play with me more than the grown ups. And I sure do like to play! And, even though I don't mind toddlers, I'd really like to belong to an older boy or girl that knows how to throw a ball and play with me. My adoption donation is $150.
