Sasha's Story...
Hi ... it's me, Sasha. Well, what can I say? I'm a little out of sorts - to say the least.

I was rescued from the cold (and the other 'stray' kitties who were picking on me) in the Winter of 2004-05. The person who 'owned' me previously was not very nice and I don't have the greatest of attitude. I am also sick of all of the other cats that I live with - although I must admit I am thankful for all that PAWS has done for me and I quite like the volunteers. I even cuddle at night with this nice man who likes to doze off on the coutch while watching tv.

I had a terrible eye infection which resulted in the loss of it but I can see perfectly out of the other one. I watch the birds from the front window of the shelter and I am looking forward to spending time in the outdoor enclosure. I would be a lot happier in a household with no other cats. Would you be willing to give me a chance? I know it's a long shot but I am absolutely beautiful and I deserve a chance. Hoping to hear from you ...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Toronto Turkish Angora cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Angora for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Turkish Angora cat from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Angora breeders who help with Turkish Angora rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
