Remi's Info...

I am purebred.

Remi's Story...
This pink-nosed pittie with the “tough guy” bravado is really a softie at heart. Curious and lively, Remi enjoys being outside in the fresh air where he can run and play. Although Remi pulls somewhat while on walks with volunteers, it is only because he is so eager to say hello to every person he meets! He is truly a friendly dog who enjoys the company of humans; and for a big fellow, Remi is quite the affectionate honey – leaning into you when you give him big bear hugs. Remi would do well in a home that can provide him with stability and firm boundaries to help him learn good manners on leash. Remi should be in a one-dog only household, although it's possible that he would do fine with a well-matched female. If you’re looking for a handsome sweetie-pie, come meet Remi!

Act quickly to adopt Remi. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remi, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
