Miles's Story...
ON TRIAL / EN PERIODE D'ESSAI
Miles is a familiar face at Animatch. This is his second time through our doors. Miles was adopted in January; however, the family’s situation has changed and Miles is again in need of a home. Miles originally came to us as a stray; the scars on his nose indicate that he either injured himself or he was mistreated. Miles is a bit fearful at first and he does have some quirks but he is a sweet dog who will become a devoted and loyal companion. He loves being in the company of other dogs (and cats) so a home where he has a canine companion would be ideal. Another dog would also help Miles with his separation anxiety. A family environment where there is lots of coming and going would best suit this fellow. Miles is an active, young dog and needs lots of exercise—backyards are not enough! Obedience training classes will build his confidence and strenthen the bond between Miles and his new guardian. We do know that Miles needs a home where he will be offered stability and security for the remainder of his life. Can you turn this fellow’s difficult past to a promising future? If you are interested in Miles, please fill in the Adoptin Form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miles, a Ile-Perrot Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Ile-Perrot, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Ile-Perrot.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ile-Perrot already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ile-Perrot breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ile-Perrot paves the way for another one to be saved.
