My story

Hello, I’m Hugo! I’m a 10 month young, 38lb tri color. I’m a very loving and happy puppy. My family had to give me up because He was leaving for the military and she became pregnant and they just weren’t able to give me the time and attention I deserved, so they gave me to Arizona Basset Hound Rescue. I was never sent to a pound, only to foster parents’ home. I’m Very rambunctious and friendly; I get along with all dogs and cats. I love going for walks and trips to the dog park with my foster family. Of course I’m up to date on all of my vaccinations and I’m Micro chipped too! Doggy doors work best for me in the potty training department, and I don’t mind being in a kennel either. I know simple commands such as “Lay down” & “Stay”. Ropes, rawhides and squeaky toys are some of my favorite things to play with. I don’t mind getting a bath, but outside of bath time, I’m not too fond of the water. When the TV and the lights go out I know its bed time and off to bed I go. I sure like to snuggle in my foster parents’ bed. I’m a young loveable puppy looking for a permanent family to keep and love me.
