apply to adopt

Hi there! I'm Petey, an adorable and loving 6 year old beagle. I'm a super nice guy, and I love to play! I would love a doggy brother or sister to wrestle and play with, as I am a fun-loving guy! I really enjoy my walks and love to play with toys. I'm so handsome that everyone wants to pet me, and I am just such a happy-go-lucky guy that I am great company! I'm mellow in the house when you want me to snuggle, but am always ready for playtime! I really love kids, but have a tendency to jump up on them in my excitement to see them, so kids who are a little bit older might be better for me until I learn to keep all four feet on the ground when I am excited! I am housebroken and seem to be good with cats, too.
I can't wait to go home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PETEY, a Palatine Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
