Trixie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Trixie's Story...
Trixie is a recent return who was originally rescued from a kill shelter in Philadelphia and adopted shortly thereafter for a young teenager. Now that the teen has gone off to college, no one in the family wanted to take care of Trixie. Sadly, there are many cases of people who can be referred to as “rent-a-kitten” adopters. Trixie is a nice cat who is looking for a permanent family to love her. She’s a good girl with no vices and is good with using her litterbox. Trixie would probably do OK with another quiet cat in the family. Please consider adopting this lovely lady and giving her a forever family.

Trixie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her estimated date of birth is 4/21/2005.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
