My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilton von Werdenberg is a handsome 4 year old German Shepherd. He has a big bone structure and has a very solid build. Wilton has a story to tell, but he would rather not dwell on the past. He is one of the most cheerful dogs you could fine with the most loving heart. He doesn’t hold any grudges for the past, just that he so enjoys any attention he gets, his kisses are amazing. You know his new owner will be so adored and cherished even more intensely because Wilton has suffered. So many people don’t want a dog with a sad pass, but Wilton is an inspiration to everyone, he is a survivor and will bless his new family with his wonderful gifts, his capacity to forgive and still love everything and everyone is inspiring!

Note from a volunteer:

His bathroom habits make me think that he has had some potty training. He walks right by your side on the leash. He stops when you stop. He starts walking when you start walking. He is one mellow dude. He will sit with a touch prompt and will politely give the paw to request a chest rub. He knows "down" and will wave a paw at you to rub his tummy.
