Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blue Girl is a front paw declaw and was found as a stray and ended up in a shelter with a severe upper respiratory infection. She touched our hearts and we just had to save her.
Blue Girl is very quiet and very sweet. She loves her food and loves to be petted and brushed. She doesn't mind sitting on your lap one bit either. Her eyes are the most striking color of deep green set against that blue fur of hers.
Blue Girl is more of a doll faced Persian than the flat faced type, which means her eyes are a bit easier to care for, but she still needs them wiped with a damp paper towel from time to time and requires regular brushing for her beautiful, long hair.
Poor Blue Girl has IBD, which means that she must be kept on a strict diet. Her foster mom has her on a raw turkey diet, which she prepares herself. However, you can buy raw food premade if you do not feel comfortable making it yourself. Making cat food is not rocket science, but it is important to use a proper recipe and be sure the proper nutrients are present. We are more than happy to assist you with that if you choose Blue Girl as your own little princess.
When Blue Girl came to her foster mom, she had raging diarrhea, was completely matted and was so thin her poor little ribs and backbone were showing through her skin, she was little more than skin and bones. Several foods were tried, but once she was put on the raw turkey diet, her digestive tract did a complete turn around and has been fine ever since. She's gained weight and looks great now. She is not on any medication for her IBD, diet alone is controlling it perfectly at this time.
Blue Girl also has compressed discs in her spine and a hip joint that gives her a hitch in her get-a-long. Because of this, it would be best for Blue Girl to be in a very quiet home with no small children, other cats or dogs. She needs a very loving and patient companion that will treat her with utmost gentleness at all times.
She loves her chin scratches and when you hold her, she will put her little head on your shoulder and cuddle right up to you. She loves attention but is not pushy about it. She loves to sit and watch you while you work, following your every move with those beautiful, sexy eyes of hers.
This pretty girl will make someone a very sweet companion, you won't regret giving her a home, she promises to love you forever.
