Bear's Story...
Bear is a 2 yr old, long haired Rott. Bear will love his new owner unconditionally and will be very protective and loyal to his family. He gets along well with most dogs, but would do best in a home as the only dog or just one other dog friend. Bear is a typical Rottweiler. He will require a lot of attention and consistent training. He knows some commands and loves to romp off leash. He does come when called and walks well on a leash. Bear does have some anxiety issues and may need a fenced in yard to stay in when family members leave him alone for the day. He only barks when appropriate. Bear would be fine with children as long as they can handle his rough play. Bear loves to snuggle and just wants to be loved and accepted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Hurricane Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Hurricane, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Hurricane.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hurricane already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hurricane breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hurricane paves the way for another one to be saved.
