Rocky's Story...
This little pup is just a bundle of love. He is a little Rat Terrier (possibly JRT) mix that weights 16 pounds and is approximately 5 years. He is calm, gentle and very quiet; he listens and learns very quickly.  Rocky is house broken and is doing really well with the use of a doggy door.  He gets along with all dogs and with older children.  He loves to be babied and prefers to sleep in his little bed and be tucked in with lots of kisses. Rocky will make a wonderful addition and will love you forever. He was found roaming in Carson in January.  He may have possibly been mistreated because he was very scared at first but has really come out of that now. If you are interested, please email us at palrescue@mac.com and put the dog's name in the subject line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a El Segundo Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
