My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at that face! Do you like wrinkles? Huckleberry is about 5 years old and is a Labrador crossed with something that has a lot of skin on the face. He is about 78#.. He was a stray picked up in WI before he made his way to MN. He was adopted out happily, but they went through a divorce and no one got the house, so Huckleberry is back!

Huckleberry is a little shy at first because someone obviosly used a heavy hand with him, but he gets over it quickly and settles right in. As you can see in the picture, he likes to get comfy in a vacant chair! He will also be a lap dog if you let him or lay on the bed with you.

Huck is crate trained and is house trained. He loves to play with other dogs. He is great with children, he will let you do anything to him. He is one of the most easy-going dogs I've ever met.

Huckleberry deserves a good forever home after his shakey start. Will you be that home?

This dog's adoption fee is $200 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if fee ends in 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just email us. If you would like more information on C.A.R.E.S. and our adoption process, please read our webpage by clicking on our name. Thank you!
