Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey - female, spayed, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, heartworm tested (-), dewormed, tx flea preventative, ~1yr, ~20lbs, Beagle.
Honey has been rescued from a pound where she was to be euthanized due to over crowding.
Honey got her name for being so sweet! She is good with other dogs, cats and respectful children of any age. She is refreshing her house training and coming along nicely, she just needs to get in to a routine. Honey is crate trained. She is not overly vocal but we would prefer Honey in a house with a fenced yard to run and play in but is making out fine her in foster home which is a condo. This wonderful, well behaved little girl would suit just about any household. She is playful and bouncy like any young dog but will settle down in the house. Like most Beagles Honey should not be off leash unless in a fully fenced, secure yard as she may want to follow her nose and wander off. Beagles make great family pets as long as you are prepared to walk for at least 30min a day (more if your up for it!). Honey would be great for the first time dog owner or a seasoned dog owner. Ideally she can find a fenced yard to play in and go for about a 30-40min walk each day. Not familiar with the Beagle breed? Visit here - http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/beagle.htm .
