Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ben is a big loverboy, approx. 7 years old. He supposedly was owned for years by a family in Jeannette; but they threw him out when he got their new female cat pregnant (what did they expect as they never had him neutered?!?). Ben wandered the streets with a young kitten and was getting bat up by local stray males. A neighborhood woman was feeding him and even took him visiting everywhere she went; however, she wouldn't pay $30 to neuter him and kept him outside away from her house cats. With winter approaching, we found a family who wanted him and took him to the clinic for the works. Unfortunately, Ben came up FIV+ (probably from fighting with the neighborhood cats!) and they didn't want to chance it as they had a feisty female cat (FIV is ONLY spread via deep bite wounds).
Ben may be part Snowshoe as he has the light coloring, 4 white paws, and brillant blue eyes of that breed. He is easygoing, gets along with everyone, and loves to be petted and held. He has been the picture of health since he's been with us, so he has years left to love you!
