Smoke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Smoke's Story...
Smoke is aproximately 5 years old and was rescued from the shelter after being picked up as a stray, well no one came for him and he was too sweet of a guy to not save, so we rescued him. Smoke has been temperment tested and passed with flying colors. He is a big Baby. He will do great with children and another dog probably best for it to be a female though as its hard to have 2 males of any breed together and its especially hard for this breed to share a home with the same sex. He is crate trained and is working on obedience training. Please open your heart and home for Smoke.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smoke, a Rougemont American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Rougemont, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Rougemont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rougemont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rougemont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rougemont paves the way for another one to be saved.
