My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Connie is a knockout with those ocean-blue eyes (which are just a teeny bit crossed!) and gorgeous markings. She's a little bit Siamese/Himalayan, a little bit tortie, and a whole lot of personality wrapped up in a petite, fluffy package. Her colors range from chocolate through caramel, butterscotch, cream, and pristine white.

Some of Connie's other favorite things include having her tummy rubbed, tossing toy mice down the stairs and chasing after them, being combed and fussed over, and working out on the cardboard scratcher (check out her YouTube video above).

She is very good at entertaining herself and spends a lot of time carrying her toys around, hiding and rearranging them. Connie wants to be near her people and can happily purr the hours away on a warm lap, once she's worn herself out from playing. She's very affectionate and wants lots of head bumps and eskimo kisses. If you really want to make her happy, just stroke her belly and watch her dreamily making biscuits in the air.

Although Connie loves people, so far she's not been very interested in buddying up with the other cats in her foster home. She is curious about them, and will share space on the bed or cat tree unless someone chases her away, but she is really her own favorite cat. She has not been tested around dogs or kids, but she is terrified of the vacuum cleaner and large plastic bags. When Connie first came to us, she had a very severe case of flea dermatitis (allergy to fleas). With treatment, her skin has healed and her fur is growing back into a very plush coat, but she must always be kept completely flea-free, to prevent a reccurence of the condition.

We think Connie was born sometime in the summer of 2007, and she is in excellent health. Her litter box habits are perfect. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, has been microchipped, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
