Tomasina's Story...
Tomasina, a gorgeous Shepherd mix with adorable floppy ears, is one lovable pooch! She strolls beside her person with ease, glancing back occasionally to make sure that you are just as content as she is. Tomasina is eager to please and has picked up 1 or 2 basic commands quickly since her arrival at the shelter. She is awfully affectionate and enjoys laying in the grass with her head in your lap. She is occasionally vocal on her walks, giving a polite "woof". It is almost as if she's saying, "Woof! Yes, I am enjoying my walk!" or "Woof! I'll keep you safe!". One thing is for sure, Tomasina would make a wonderful canine companion to the right person or family. Come and meet this sweet, beautiful girl and leave with a darling new friend.

Act quickly to adopt Tomasina. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tomasina, a Berkeley German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
