Toni's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Toni's Story...
My foster family found me when they stopped their car. I jumped right in and made myself at home. I was microchipped but it was never registered and there were no records of who my owners were anywhere. My foster mom says that I am so well trained and just a wonderful dog. I know the commands for sit, stay, down, come, and fetch. I am completely housebroken and crate trained. I get along well with the other dogs in my house and love the kids. I have been exposed to cats and am fine with them as well. I am a really laid back, chill kind of girl who hopes to find a new family who will never let me go. Is that you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toni, a Houston Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Houston, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
