Mercedes is a Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier Mix. She is Black. Mercedes is 2 Years Old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 24 lbs.
Mercedes is a joyful little girl who loves adventure! She loves to explore new places, especially the back yard. Right now Mercedes is enjoying romping and playing in the leaves even when most of the time they cover her because she's so low to the ground. As soon as she got here, she made her self right at home and jumped on the couch and curled up for a nap. She really likes to play with dogs bigger than her, and has been trying to get a Boxer to become friends with her. Mercedes loves to go for walks and is very good on the leash, her ears go even higher up when she hears a new noise. After a day full of playing in the leaves and walking around the neighborhood, Mercedes is content to snuggle up next to you and watch a movie. Mercedes would make someone a very nice companion and would enjoy being apart of a family!
Mercedes would do well in any household. She adores meeting new people and wags her tail as soon as she meets you. She loves adults, kids and other dogs. She loves greet people so if you have a large family or friends coming over often she will be beyond thrilled. Mercedes is great on the leash and is already housetrained and crate trained! She would love having a fenced in yard because she loves to romp and play in the leaves, but if you don't have one just get a long leash and let her explore! Mercedes is already used to being on the couch and bed, so if you don't want that you would have to train her to do otherwise. Mercedes is an adorable small little girl and now she just wants to have her forever home, especially in time for the holidays!
Mercedes is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
