My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tippie was raised by an elderly gentleman who did not socialize her properly. This girl was too much dog for him and she did not get the play time and stimulation she needed. When Tippie arrived at her new foster home, she did not know how to play with toys and how to act around other dogs. Her primary "challenge" was separation . . . Tippie wanted her human with her 100% of the time. We are so happy to announce that Tippie has come full circle and is doing wonderfully in her foster home!!!! She now plays with toys and the other dogs and her personality has bubbled to the surface! Tippie LOVES water and if you set up a sprinkler in your backyard, she will be entertained for hours. She also loves to snuggle and be held in your arms (if it is HER idea!). She is still a very active dog which is a JRT issue and always on the move . . . busy, busy, busy. Tippie also has gotten over her separation issues - although she doesn't like being left alone, she does enjoy the company of the other dogs and now understands that her humans will come back. Tippie is now 100% crate trained, spayed, up to date on shots, and is on flea preventative and heartworm preventative. This is one wire-haired female who has absolutely blossomed in her new environment and we hope to find her that perfect, forever home!
