Tracie's Info...

I am housetrained, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tracie's Story...
Tracie is a sweet 1 year old mix. She's a little on the quite shy side but not timid. She walks really nice on a leash and just enjoys her walks. When you ask her to sit she automatically sits pretty with her paws up. It's the cutest thing! Tracie would do best in a home with kids over 12. She's a real good girl she has not jumped up on anyone at all. She seems to do very well with other dogs. We have not tested her with cats yet but that can be done if requested. If you would like to meet this sweet young lady who so disserves a good home please call 828-2130.

Act quickly to adopt Tracie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tracie, a West Warwick Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in West Warwick, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in West Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
