Winslow came to us in November 2009 as a return adoption after his family had a new baby and felt they could not cope with everyone. The good news is Winslow is very smart and prior to the new baby, Winslow’s owners worked with him on his obedience commands so he is already well trained. He does an excellent sit stay, a lured down and is working up to a great leave it. Winslow is still young and once released from training he is full of energy and needs plenty of opportunity to burn off steam. He can get jumpy when playing, in fact he can reach great heights, and for this reason he will do best in a home with a fenced yard and without small children or fragile people. Winslow focuses well on his handlers and is looking for an active family who wants to make him a part of their activities and not just an accessory at home.
