My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taz is a 7 month old, dark sable, German Shepherd. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Taz was brought to a shelter by his original owners because they lived in an apartment and could not handle his high energy level. Since being in Rescue, we find him to be extremely smart, easy going, wanting to please and just a big, goofy, puppy.

Taz comes from working lines and he will need to go home to someone experienced in handling high energy, German Shepherds. He would benefit if he had a job. If someone is looking for a Search and Rescue K9, or Police Working K9 Candidate, Taz would love to show you his stuff.

Because Taz comes from working lines he would not be good in a home with small dogs or cats. He needs someone his own size to play with. He loves to run so a large fenced in area is a must, no exceptions. Taz started obedience training and is excelling. He is very treat motivated which makes learning easy and fun. Taz would be great with older children. No small children because he will knock them over and he may play too rough. Taz is great on walks and loves car rides. If you can offer this handsome boy a home that can cater to his energy level and high intelligence Please Email:luvgermansheps@yahoo.com

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.

Adoption fees range from $100 - $450 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.

Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption. Located in Middleburg, Florida.

*Free Obedience Lessons offered to all of my rescued dogs that are placed within Clay County & Duval County areas. * Obedience Classes located in Orange Park, Florida.
