Ellie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ellie's Story...
Ellie was picked up off the streets after animal control supposedly took all of her puppies - we were told that they were unable to catch Ellie though. One of our volunteers was able to get her - she was very sad and confused for a while. She is settling in nicely now and is looking for a forever home this time. It is apparent that she has had multiple litters. Ellie is very sweet and would love a home with children - she has a very sweet nature. She would like a walking partner just as well though. We think Ellie is about 2 years old and she weighs 50 pounds. If you are interested, please email us at palrescue@mac.com and put the dog's name in the subject line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a El Segundo German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
