Hey there everyone! My name is Crumbs and I am a 5 lb, 1 year old Chihuahua. I am living in a foster home right now with my foster mom. a little Chi like me and 2 cats...WOW, what a family. I'm a sweet little gal who is still a little timid towards new people, although I will bark at anyone knocking at the door....I am very brave behind the door, heh,heh! Even though I am still timid, I do like to be around people. Its best if new people pick me up, gently pet me and use soft tones. I would prefer to be in a calm home environment with well mannered children ages 12 or older...sudden movements by young children scare me and being little, I don't want to be accidentally dropped or stepped on....OUCH!!
Here is a little bit about me.... I like both wet and dry food. I love to cuddle and be held....that is one important qualification of being a Chihuahua...you have to love to cuddle, heh, heh! In fact I love to cuddle soooo much that I just burrow down into bed at night and sleep like a baby. I love to sit next to my foster mom and watch TV....my favorite is Animal Planet, Dogs 101! Speaking of dogs, I get along with dogs of all sizes...and I have met them all. I would rather not live in a home with cats. Even though I live with cats in my foster home, I love to chase those cats and sometimes cats don't like to be chased...let just say I have been lucky so far! I love to go outside for walks and play fetch. I have great leash manners. I am house trained... I normally won't ask to go out, but when I do go outside, I do my "duties". Once outside, if the car is running, I hop in....love to go for rides, might mean toy shopping!!!
