Fluffy Boy's Story...
Fluffy Boy is a handsome and extremely sweet and affectionate orange and white Maine Coon/Turkish Angora kitty who was rescued from the city pound. Fluffy follows you around asking for petting and attention. Good with other cats. Enjoys being picked up. We don't know much about Fluffy's past. Former owners turned him into the pound with the lame excuse, "Can't care for anymore." Apparently opening a can of cat food and scopping a litter box is hard work. Fluffy needs a loving home where caregivers are happy to give food and petting. If interested in this great kitty, please call us ratner than email (212) 427-8273.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fluffy Boy, a New York Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in New York, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
