My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for the Perfect Family Addition?

This is Dillon.

He was placed back in our rescue because his best friend (a young boy) became allergic to animals and their saliva. His best friend was so sad to see Dillon leave because they did everything together!

Born Feb. 10, 2004, cocker / husky mix. He is now almost 17 months old, weighs about 45 lbs, is a GOOD medium sized dog, has Husky markings with a Cocker body and long legs. We know he is a Cocker mix because his mom is a buff PB Cocker that gave birth to him in a shelter. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and is house and crate trained. He ALSO knows basic commands and graduated from obedience school.

Dillon likes to go swimming in the lake or pool, he likes to sleep on his dog pillow. Loves to be social with EVERYONE, great around kids, loves to go to soccer fields and be around others. Enjoys his ears and belly scratched, to play and wrestle with people and other animals.br>
Dillon really has the whole package, he has beauty and grace, has lots of love to give and will be a GREAT family addition.

We do NOT adopt out of the local area.

If you believe that your home would be a wonderful new forever place for this pet, please email the address to the right so that we may send you an application to complete and return to us.

Anyone interested in our dogs or cats will be required to fill out an adoption contract which includes a home visit by one of our volunteers.

All our dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and heartworm free and all our cats will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and Feline Leuk and FIV free.

We do ask for a $150/dog and $110/cat adoption donation..
