My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please! Time is running out for these precious pups! The people that rescued them are moving and these pups have no where to go. C.H.S. will provide the food and medical on them if you can foster one of them. You just give them love and take care of their needs. Please read their story below. Their adoption will include: shots, bordatella, worming and spay/neuter. Please contact: lambertpat54@yahoo.com if you have a heart to help.

My husband found a box of 3 puppies abandoned a few months ago in the woods (he is an electrical superintendent). Two appeared to be border collie mix and one is a black lab of some sort. One of them was in good health and we found a home for him immediately through word of mouth which left us with the two. One had been hit by a vehicle in the past it appeared and one was near starved and almost bald with fleas. To top things off another puppy came into the picture. The hunters around where we live let their hunting dogs roam free. An emaciated momma hunting dog brought up a puppy that wasn't even weaned to our house and crawled under my husbands vehicle and died, she was too weak to take care of him anymore. It makes me so sick. So that left us with 3 very sweet, but still not our animals at our home all in need of care. Now, and in lieu of trying to find them homes, the owner of the property where we live has sold. We have secured a new place, but the abandoned strays are not welcome in the lease. We already had our own two dogs before this happened. The dogs we have now we have had since my husband and I met and of course, we can't let them go to keep the others. I cannot bring myself to take them to animal control for fear of them being put to sleep. The question is what do I do now?? I am sick with worry over these animals and I know time is running out for options. We have until November 21st to place them, please help us.
