Rudy is Adopted
Rudy is currently fostered in Northampton PA, and his adoption donation is $250
Rudy is a 6 yr old male, brown & white cocker spaniel. He was rescued from an Amish mill, along with Mandy (5 yr female apricot colored), where they were going to be destroyed.
He is a very sweet boy, however due to his experience in a puppymill, is very timid, and afraid.
His foster is working with him to bring him out of his shell, and show him what it is to be a beloved pet.
He is doing very well with housebreaking, and gets along with the other dogs in foster care.
Rudy will need an owner that will be patient with him, and give him the time he needs to overcome his fears.
He does very well with being handled and responds nicely to affection and human contact.
He is already starting to wag his tail, and is showing his personality.
If his foster picks him up, and puts him on her lap, he will stay there for hours, he loves to cuddle.
He will probably do best in a quieter laid back home where he will be more comfortable.
He is not fostered with children, so we do not know how he will react/respond to them.
Rudy does seem to have a very quiet, laid back temperment, and will make a nice companion dog.
Rudy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.
If you would like to adopt Rudy or would like more information on him, please fill out an adoption application.
