My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sandy, a very pretty blue merle female with a very fluffy tail! Sandy was turned over to rescue when her owners moved to a new home. She couldn't go with them because she shed too much and they didn't have a fenced yard.

Sandy is house trained and reliable! She is good with other dogs, pretty much ignores cats and is good with children (6 yrs and up). She can be very protective of her home but will warm up to people after a bit. This is a dog that isn't going to let just anyone in their home unannounced!

Sandy is pretty good on a leash and does like to go for walks. Her former owner said she loved to play with her basketball. She sits and shakes on command. Right now her coat is growing out from being shaved, I am told she has a beautiful coat when grown.

Sandy would do best in a home that is dog savvy. She is loyal and a very sweet and loving girl to her person(s).

Sandy is 7 yrs old and is fostered in Winter Springs.
