Lily's Story...
Lily is a 1 year old white/black Dachshund/Terrier mix who is just so very adorable and sweet! She weighs about 11 pounds and is very submissive. Lily is crate trained and housetrained. She plays very well with her foster siblings and has definitely won the hearts of her foster mom and dad! Lily sleeps well in bed at night with her foster family but she is comfortable in her crate as well. She is current on all her vaccination, heartworm negative and she is spayed. As you can tell by the pictures, Lily is playful with her toys as well and loves to play! Foster mom and dad think of her as the perfect foster dog. Come and meet our wonderful, beautiful Lily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Overland Park Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
