Vundi's Story...
Vundi was brought to us by one of our volunteers who answered a call from a concerned citizen. They found Vundi, whose name is Malayalam for "car," in a median between six lanes of fast-moving traffic. She is now safe with us, and looking for a perfect home! Vundi is as sweet as can be. She loves being handled, held like a baby, and cuddled up against your chest. She is young, we estimate her birthday to be around April 2009, and in addition to being cuddly she is also very curious and friendly. Vundi loves meeting new people and putting her head down to have you rub between her ears.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vundi, a Lewisville Mini Rex was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mini Rex for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Mini Rex from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mini Rex breeders who help with Mini Rex rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
