Buddy-PA's Story...
This is Buddy. I know his picture is very disturbing and so is his story. Poor Buddy came into the shelter with no name. His abusers were using him as a bait dog and not bothering to feed him. Their goal was to keep him weak so that he couldn't fight back. Poor Buddy has old and new wounds all over his body. He has fresh gashes in his mouth and his stomach. We are working hard to help Buddy recover physically and emotionally but we need your support. Please click on the link below and donate to help Buddy and all the abused, neglected and abandoned corsos that come into our care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy-PA, a New York Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in New York, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
