Bell's Story...
I’m Bell (short for Bello), and I’m 7! My adoptive parents brought me back recently, and although that makes me really sad, I know the right family is out there for me. I hope they’ll show me how to use a crate when I’m alone to help me stay out of garbage cans and to help me housetrain! I’m very quiet and gentle and I love being petted and talked to. I’m good on a leash and with other dogs and cats. I get along with everyone: men, women and children. During my time here at the shelter, I’ve gotten a bath and a pedicure (both of which I loved!), and had my rabies shot. PLEASE adopt me: I will make it all well-worth your while!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bell, a Huntingdon Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Huntingdon, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Huntingdon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntingdon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntingdon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntingdon paves the way for another one to be saved.
