THIS IS EMI....before her makeover! This bouncy, 12.5 lbs, tri colored, Christmas Eve, Shih Tzu baby (will be 1 yr old on 12/24) is silly, funny, loveable and cute to boot! Unfortunately, the wrong home bought this little bundle of fluff and did not know how to properly care for her. In these pictures, you see a full coat...but she is matted to the bone underneath. She came to us without being spayed or chipped, but we took care of that! Emi's family decided to move back to Korea and needed to "get rid of her" by December 2. They were going to dump her in a shelter until we found out about her and agreed to take her. Emi has now learned how to walk on a leash, although she is still "practicing." She loves to drive in the car and is a great little companion. Her life experience has been rather sheltered, as she has lived in a pen and really not integrated into a household. We brought her here and she acclimated immediately! Emi is totally silly, she loves the grass and loves to play. She will be getting her makeover tomorrow and we're excited to see what's under all that coat! Emi is good with kids, so she could go to a home where there are kids over 5 yrs old. She will definitely want a canine companion...and she could use some training! She seems to be pee pad and potty trained, but we never guarantee! She is a sweetheart who deserves a full life of love and companionship....and cuddles and snuggles too.
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 10am - 3pm at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064).. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
