My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chayce is Adopted

Chayce is currently being fostered in Rolling Shores Ohio, and his adoption fee/donation is $350

Chayce is a beautiful 12 month old male-red cocker spaniel that came to us from a shelter in MI.
He was adopted out from the shelter, and was returned due to resource guarding issues.
It was said that we would growl when he had something in his mouth that he is not supposed to have.
The adopters were not comfortable with this issue, so they returned him to the shelter, where they then reached out to us to take him.
He has been in our foster home for two weeks now, and we have not seen any resource guarding issues from him.

We are going to be looking for an experienced cocker home for him just because he has already been returned once before, and we never know if these issues could arise in a new home.
His current foster says he is very sweet, well trained, and gets along very well with her dog in the home.
He is also house trained and will go into a crate without any issues.

This boy is very young, has lots of energy, and would do best in a home where he can run, play and release his youthful energy.
A fenced in yard would also be best for him.

Chayce is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.
