Facts about Chico

  • Breed: Australian Shepherd
  • Color: White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Chico was born September 23, 2002. He loves to travel. He has gone on vacation with his foster family in their motor home, and knows to wait for permission to go outside and explore new stuff.
Chico is current on immunizations, neutered, microchipped and crate trained. He is not a barker, but does have a high pitched bark and will use it to let you know he wants in with his humans. Chico would be an ideal companion for an active retiree and loves to travel...especially in the motorhome. He loves to play with his ball when his favorite human is next to him. He enjoys going for a walk and is very good on a leash.

Chico has started having periodic grand mal seizures. At this point his seizures have been 3-4 months apart and at night while he was sleeping. Because his seizures are more than a month apart and last less than a few minutes, he is not required to take medication. This may change in the future. He currently wears a bell on his collar so that his foster family can be alerted to any seizure activity. His forever home would need to be willing to accommodate his changing needs.
